Chocs Irish Charm - Chocs Irish Charm (Brodie) is a 15.h late yearling (April 2002). He is an AQHA Appendix gelding. He is bay, with only a small amount of white. He is a really nice trotter, and an awesome loper. He has a cute head, long neck, and really short back. He is straight, correct, elegant, and well-balanced. He has a sweet, docile personality. He is current on all vaccines, including West Nile and Rabies. He is also easy to deal with the farrier, veterinarian, dentist, etc. He is nominated to the AQHA IF, NSBA, and Just for Pleasure futurities. Brodie will make a very competitive AM or Youth gelding. He is big boned, so he should hold up well for the flat and the fences. He should hold his own for a number of events. He lopes all over the place. He would rather just lope slowly around, rather than get too excited. He may be too big to win the pleasure classes, but he should be very competitive in the western riding, trail, and horsemanship classes. He swaps leads in the field really easily. He may also be highly suitable for the AHSA circuit and Combined Training fields due to his size (strings to 17h), and substance/bone. Brodie is by 2x Congress and AQHA World Champion Chocolua, who is also has a superior in Hunter under Saddle. He excelled in the fences classes, and Brodie appears to have the same potential. Brodie is a ½ brother to one of the high sellers in the AQHA World Sale. Brodie has the looks, mind, and movement to be your next long term winner! A video is currently available. Tresaison Cefyn

A rather unusual part of our herd, but a much loved little fella and of course always a great talking point! We believe he is the only one of his kind in the UK and therefore a great rarity. He is a miniature spotted mule standing around 33” tall. Bred by ourselves his dam is a mini few spot mare and his sire is a black Mediterranean Miniature Donkey. It was a bit of a surprise when he was born, as we had only realised Susie was in foal about two weeks before! When he was born with his big ears and little blanket we were smitten! He is colouring out more and more each year and now sports many different colours in his summer coat whilst still retaining the beige around his eyes and muzzle like his Dad.

Cefyn (pronounced ‘Kevin’) comes from the Welsh words Ceffyl (horse) and Assyn (Donkey). His main job is as a companion and lawn mower but we will perhaps be breaking him for our children to ride – if they are not too embarrassed!

Very sadly we lost Cefyn following a colic operation in August 2008. It was a devastating blow for us and he is badly missed. Such a character, he will never be forgotten.
